When we set out to do our part, we always told ourselves that helping just one person would be reward enough for all our efforts. We never imagined enabling thousands of people to find support. Besides our wonderful team, we could not have done it without you. You – that is everyone who posted an offer, wrote us an email, donated money, spread the word – who cared and got involved. We will remain eternally grateful. 

 The underpinning premise of our website has always been that people will help if they can. And you did. Your example continues to inspire us. 

Although we are closing this website, we will remain active. We urge you to do the same. Stay involved, continue to care. There is a war in Europe. 

As the horror goes on, so must we. If this experience has taught us one thing, it’s that we can make a difference if we band together.
